About this aircraft
What a great piece of of aviation history.
The officially licensed Germania aircrafttag.
What a beautiful airplane this was.
D-AGER received this special paint job on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. Only one aircraft was flying in these colors.
Due to financial troubles Germania ceased operations in 2019. This Boeing 737-700 was stored and never reactivated.
But the Cockpit was removed and a Flight Simulator was built out of the front section. This Simulator is now located in Berlin at https://evs-flugsimulator-berlin.de and can be flown by everyone.
Enjoy this video of D-AGER in Geneva.
Please be informed, that you order a piece of aviation history. This aircrafttag travelled for more than 1 decade around the world between +40°C and -60°C. This is why you may find dents and scratches on it. As well imperfections of paint may occur. But this is what we want to provide to you.
We remind you that this aircrafttag is not suitable for children.
Scratches are the point
This aluminium spent decades between +40 °C on the ramp and −60 °C at altitude, through rain, hail, de-icing fluid and ultraviolet light. It has dents, scratches and paint wear. That wear is the evidence that it flew - a flawless piece would mean it never did.
