Boeing 737-700- Xiamen Air - B-5216

B-5216 was a Boeing 737-700 delivered new to Xiamen Airlines in 2005. For nearly two decades, this aircraft faithfully served the airline’s domestic and regional network, connecting Xiamen with major cities across China and Southeast Asia. Dressed in the airline’s distinctive “Blue Swan” livery, B-5216 became a familiar presence in Chinese skies, symbolizing Xiamen Airlines’ commitment to reliability, safety, and friendly service.

After thousands of flights and millions of kilometers flown, B-5216 was retired in 2024, marking the end of a proud era in the airline’s Boeing 737 operations.

Although no longer the world’s best-selling jetliner - a title now held by the Airbus A320 family - the Boeing 737 remains one of aviation’s most successful and enduring aircraft. Celebrated for its efficiency, versatility, and robust design, it has been the backbone of fleets worldwide for over half a century.
