Geschnitten wird aus lackierten Rumpfblechen - der Außenhaut, nicht der Kabinenverkleidung. Aus welchem Bereich ein Stück stammt, hängt davon ab, wo die Lackierung auf dem Rumpf lag. Echtheitszertifikat inklusive.

Mit einem trockenen oder leicht feuchten Tuch abwischen. Keine Lösungs- oder Scheuermittel - sie nehmen den Originallack mit. Die Kanten sind versiegelt, im Innenraum korrodiert das Aluminium nicht.

D-AXGA was operated by Sunexpress Germany for Eurowings. One of its first longrange flight was bound for Cuba. Therefore two large special Cuba livery stickers were attached at the aft fuselage.

However, D-AXGA was planned to continue flying for Lufthansa Cityline. Corona brought this idea to a standstill and the A330 was parked in Munich in 2020 together with 3 other A330 sister ships. Finally this Airbus with its beautiful Cuba stickers was scrapped in 2024.

Dieses Aluminium hat Jahrzehnte zwischen +40 °C am Vorfeld und −60 °C in Reiseflughöhe verbracht - durch Regen, Hagel, Enteisungsmittel und UV-Strahlung. Es hat Dellen, Kratzer und Lackabrieb. Genau diese Spuren belegen, dass es geflogen ist. Ein makelloses Stück wäre nie in der Luft gewesen.
